Relationship & Divorce Guidance

Integrated emotional, financial, and legal guidance through every stage of relationship change.

There comes a point in many relationships when you realize the old ways of coping are no longer working. Perhaps you've spent months—or even years—trying to improve your relationship. You've had difficult conversations, read the books, listened to the podcasts, gone to therapy, and done everything you know how to do. Yet despite all of your effort, you still find yourself wondering what comes next.

Maybe you're questioning whether your relationship can be repaired. Maybe you're considering separation but feel overwhelmed by the emotional, financial, and legal implications of that decision. Or perhaps you've already begun the divorce process and are wondering why something that seemed so straightforward has become so confusing and emotionally exhausting.

One of the most common things I hear from clients is, "I don't know where to start." They aren't simply looking for legal answers or emotional support. They're trying to understand how all of the pieces fit together while making one of the most important decisions of their lives. That's where Relationship & Divorce Guidance is different.

Rather than focusing on just one aspect of relationship change, I help you navigate the emotional, financial, and legal realities together. My goal isn't simply to help you get through the process. It's to help you understand the whole picture so you can make thoughtful decisions with greater confidence and build a future that reflects your values.

A Different Kind of Support

One of the things that surprises many people is how quickly relationship change becomes fragmented. You may have a therapist helping you process emotions, an attorney explaining your legal rights, a financial professional asking for documents, and well-meaning friends sharing advice based on their own experiences. Every conversation is valuable, but each one looks at your situation through a different lens.

Meanwhile, you're the one trying to connect the dots.

Questions that seem simple become intertwined. If I move out, how will that affect the children? If I return to work, what happens financially? Should I mediate or litigate? Am I making this decision because I'm finally ready—or because I'm exhausted?

No single professional is responsible for helping you understand how those decisions affect one another. That's the role I fill. Drawing on my experience as an attorney, mediator, certified life coach, and mindfulness practitioner, I help you step back from the overwhelm, understand the bigger picture, and move forward with a thoughtful plan that reflects your goals and your values.

Wherever You Are, We'll Begin There

There isn't one "right" time to reach out, and you don't have to wait until you've made a decision before asking for help. Some clients contact me because they're beginning to question their relationship and don't know whether it can be repaired. Others have already hired an attorney but feel overwhelmed by the legal process. Some are preparing for mediation, while others are learning how to rebuild after divorce.

Because every journey is different, my role isn't fixed. As your needs evolve, my role evolves with you. Early in our work together, we may focus on understanding your relationship, exploring your options, and deciding what feels right. If you decide to separate, our attention naturally shifts toward financial organization, legal preparation, communication, and navigating the divorce process. Later, we may focus on co-parenting, rebuilding confidence, creating healthy relationships, or designing the next chapter of your life.

You don't have to know exactly what you'll need months from now. You simply need a trusted guide who can meet you where you are today and continue walking alongside you as your needs change.

What It's Like to Work Together

No two clients—and no two sessions—are exactly alike. Some weeks we'll prepare for an important conversation with your spouse. Other weeks we'll organize financial information before you meet with your attorney or prepare for mediation. Sometimes we'll spend our time exploring whether your relationship can be repaired. Other times we'll focus on helping you move confidently into the next chapter of your life.

Throughout it all, my role remains the same. I'm there to provide a calm, steady presence while helping you make sense of complex situations, simplify what feels overwhelming, and think through the consequences of each decision before you make it. Some conversations are deeply practical. Others are deeply personal. Most often, they're both.

My goal is simple. Every time we meet, I want you to leave with greater understanding, a clear plan, and increased confidence in yourself and your next step. You don't have to know the answer before you ask for help. You simply have to take the first step.

How We'll Move Forward Together

Every client's journey is unique, but our work often centers around three interconnected areas.

Emotional Strength

Major relationship decisions affect every part of your life. Together, we'll strengthen your ability to understand and regulate your emotions, rebuild self-trust, improve communication, establish healthy boundaries, and make thoughtful decisions from a place of confidence rather than fear.

Together we'll...

  • Build self-trust

  • Regulate stress

  • Make confident decisions

  • Set healthy boundaries

  • Improve communication

Financial Confidence

Financial uncertainty often keeps people feeling stuck.

I'll help you understand the financial implications of your choices, organize important information, create budgets, prepare financial documents, and approach financial conversations with greater confidence.

Together we'll...

  • Create a budget

  • Understand the financial impact of your decisions

  • Organize financial information

  • Prepare financial documents

  • Build financial confidence

Legal Understanding

You don't need to become a lawyer.

But you do deserve to understand the process.

Drawing on more than twenty years of family law experience, I'll help you understand your options, prepare for meetings with attorneys, translate legal terminology into plain English, prepare for mediation, and make informed decisions every step of the way.

Together we'll...

  • Understand the divorce process

  • Prepare for mediation

  • Create parenting plans

  • Prepare financial affidavits

  • Choose the right professionals

  • Make informed decisions

Practical Support

Our work is about more than conversations.

Depending on your needs, we'll create practical tools and resources such as:

  • Budgets

  • Financial affidavits

  • Parenting plans

  • Communication strategies

  • Decision-making frameworks

  • Mediation preparation

  • Questions for attorneys

  • Personalized action plans

  • Referrals to trusted professionals

You'll leave each session with both greater understanding and meaningful progress.

My Hope for Every Client

I don't measure success by whether someone stays in their relationship or chooses to divorce. I measure success by whether they move forward with greater understanding, integrity, confidence, and self-trust.

Because relationship change isn't simply emotional.

It isn't simply financial.

And it isn't simply legal.

It's all three.

You deserve guidance that understands the whole picture.

Your First Step

Every client begins with an Initial Guidance Session.

This 90-minute session is designed to help us understand your unique situation, identify your most immediate concerns, and begin creating a thoughtful path forward. Whether you're questioning your relationship, preparing for divorce, already working with an attorney, or rebuilding afterward, we'll begin exactly where you are.

Unlike a complimentary consultation, this isn't a sales meeting. It's the beginning of our work together.

Before you leave, you'll have a clearer understanding of your options, practical next steps, and a plan for how I can best support you moving forward. If additional sessions would be helpful, we'll determine a pace that feels right for your needs. There are no retainers, long-term contracts, or required packages—just thoughtful guidance when you need it.
